Big congrats to this new family from Kansas! Earl and his daughters Brynn and Macy were visting NYC with their dad’s girlfriend Kelsey where he decided to propose! We started with a family holiday session in Rockefeller Center before Kelsey knew the girls were holding signs that said “Will you marry my dad?” and Earl was on one knee! So romantic! Big congrats!
It was a beautiful fall day for a proposal! Drew wanted to pop the question on the Brooklyn Bridge, and we had his back. And not to mention Brooke’s reaction was too cute! So glad to have captured their special moment. We loved shooting with this fun couple!!
Pooja may have suspected that she was going to get proposed to that day, but she didn’t know how. After some time walking around the Bethesda Terrace with Aalap, Pooja looked over at the row boats and said “I hope were not going on one of those boats.” Aalap responded, “Oh, were going on those boats.” Laughing and smiling the whole time, Aalap and Pooja got on the row boat and paddled out to the Bow Bridge, where he had finally asked the question. It was such a sweet moment, with such wonderful people and we are so excited to share it with you!
We had a blast photographing Eric in NYC! He’s visiting from Oklahoma and wanted some cool NYC shots. We loved his fashion and overall vibe. So cool!
We love dates that turn into proposals! Xiomara and Lamont are both New Yorkers and both work for the NYPD. Lamont planned a fun day date in the city where an IHNY session was part of the plan, Xiomara was excited to have photos taken together. We let them to a great spot in Brooklyn Bridge Park with a little bit of fall left where Lamont knew that was his cue. He got down on one knee and asked Xiomara to marry him! So awesome! Congrats to this happy couple!
