For us at IHNY, the moment that we truly feel that Christmas is fast approaching is when we get to capture a couple’s engagement in The Rink at Rockefeller Center. The giant, colorful, and brightly lit Christmas tree provides a perfectly festive backdrop to every romantic proposal that takes place there.

Xavier and Delphine just so happened to be our first Ice Skating Proposal couple for Winter 2018! We were extremely excited to get to photograph, not only the moment where he gets down on one knee, but also their post-proposal portraits in front of the Prometheus Statue, where they also enjoyed a couple of glasses of champagne to celebrate!

This unsurprisingly successful and beautiful proposal was planned by The Heart Bandits team.
