This family from Houston was in town for their daughter to dance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade and we loved that they also scheduled an IHNY session! She also loves theater so several Broadway shows were also scheduled for the week, hope they were fun!

Meet Kate, Craig and Niecy! This family is getting ready to move to Florida and wanted to document their life in NYC before heading south. What better way to do that than pictures with the Empire State Building and of course Union Square Park! We got a little bit more of that gorgeous New York fall weather too!

We’ve been so busy over here at IHNY and now I have a ton of new sessions to blog! Meet Manisha and Pravin and their two girls Priyana and Krisana! They live on the East side of Manhattan and we’re thrilled when we suggested to shoot their family session at the brand new FDR Four Freedoms Park on Roosevelt Island.

Roosevelt Island is a wonderful little secret of New York City and if you haven’t been I highly suggest a trip on the cable card (just 1 Metro swipe!) across the East River to walk around the island and enjoy it’s great views of the city. The Four Freedoms park is also beautiful with white marble and tree lined walkways.

Manisha and her family were wonderful to work with, once the girls realized we just wanted to have fun too and run around with them too!
