Stephanie and Vic live right here in NYC but are getting married in Texas and India this year! They wanted to celebrate their New York style with a session. The IHNY session began with a crazy downpour that delayed us a few minutes but afterwards the sun was shining brightly on the glistening streets of the city. Perfection!
Meet Vanessa and Eduardo! We had a sorta spring day for their IHNY session in the Flatiron district before heading downtown to Chinatown. So many fun city elements were happening and we had a great time capturing these two cuties with the New York hustle and bustle!
Jessica and Chuck are getting married later this year in Baltimore, where they currently live, but since they are both from New Jersey they knew an IHNY session was a must! It was a very cold, windy day but that didn’t stop us from gorgeous afternoon light in the Flatiron district. We even made these two take off their coats for a couple pictures, their style is too good not to show it all off!
You probably remember Cathy and Steve as our IHNY newlyweds! These two tied the knot in an emotional City Hall ceremony at the end of August and we were lucky enough to capture it! We then ventured up on the Brooklyn Bridge for some fun photos before they went to lunch. Since these two jetted off to Spain that very night we decided to shoot the remainder of their session at a later date so we could capture some of those amazing sunsets New York has in the fall.
Fast forward less than a month into their marriage where we caught amazing light in the West Village and along the Hudson River. We had a great time with these two and enjoyed our pitcher of margaritas at the end!
The love affair of Melissa and Glenn began over a half carafe of wine and has been growing ever since! We started their session in our West Chelsea neighborhood and stopped for drinks on the rooftop of the Americano Hotel, a brand new boutique hotel in the neighborhood. We then zipped up the West Side highway to their proposal spot along Riverside Park for some lovely sunset photos. The two did a quick change and we headed for Lincoln Center where we made ballerinas a part of our IHNY session. There’s a very modern park area on top of a restaurant there that we thought was super cool! A quick stop on a subway platform at Columbus Circle added the final element and another IHNY for the win!
